SHEEP HERDING LESSONS
Click here to watch a demo of Brian as he's interviewed by The Wall Street Journal

Lessons for sheep herding are available via private or semi-private lessons.     For novice dogs, Brian will take your dog into a round pen with 3-4 sheep, and help bring out your dog's natural "herding" instinct.    He will then bring you into the ring, and teach you how to bring out the same results in your dog.   Additional sheep can be added as the dog progresses.    Please see Herding page for pricing.   Email brian@thecanineranch.com or call 678.493.8040 to schedule an appointment.    Appointments are available days, evenings and weekends.

flyball classes     Space is limited to 6 students and classes will fill quickly.   Email stay@thecanineranch.com to sign up for this 6 week class - cost is $80.

Dates Level Time Instructor Class Description
Saturday Flyball 101 9am - 10pm Howard / Danie

Flyball 101 is a 6 week class designed as an introduction to the sport of flyball.

Open to all dogs and puppies 6 months and older who are not dog aggressive and have a basic recall.  Basic obedience training is desirable, but not required.

Homework with your dog is absolutely necessary.  You will need to be able to devote 5-10 minutes a day, 5-7 days a week to reinforce what you and your dog are learning in class.

It should be noted that the average dog should pick up the basics of flyball in a 6-week course.  However, some dogs will learn more rapidly while others may take significantly longer.  Completion of the course, regardless of the progress of your dog, in no way guarantees nor insures membership in the Lunatic Fringe flyball group nor participation on the team at competition.
